Moyee Coffee: Changing the Coffee Industry through Activism

Dalia Research

Ticket

The world's coffee industry is in crisis. In May, coffee prices fell to their lowest point in over a decade at $0.88 per pound. And while coffee profits are made in industrialised countries, at the expense of environmental and social problems in the coffee producing countries, 90% of coffee farmers still live on less than two euro a day - below poverty line.

We dare to ask: „What do we need to do to change the industry?“

With Moyee launching its FairChain Coffee in Germany during the Berlin Coffee Festival, we invite experts and coffee lovers to discuss the question which actions we need to take in order to effectively change the industry.
